KICKSTART YOUR ROUND WITH THIS 45-MINUTE WARM-UP ROUTINE

Ready to sharpen your game before hitting the course? Try this 45-minute pre-round warm-up to get in the zone and fine-tune your skills. Experiment with different elements over your next five rounds to discover what works best for you.


5 Minutes - Lag Putting


One ball

Stick to your full pre-shot routine.

Practice varying distances (6, 8, 10 meters).

Include different slopes: uphill, downhill, and sidehill.


5 Minutes - Holing Out


One ball

Use your full pre-shot routine.

Focus on short putts (1, 2 meters).

Practice on various slopes: uphill, downhill, and sidehill.


5 Minutes - Short Game


One ball

Follow your full pre-shot routine.

Work on chipping, pitching, and bunker shots.

Vary distances and try high and low shots.


5 Minutes - Body Relaxation


Do 10-15 relaxed practice swings.

Hit 5-10 easy, free-swinging wedge shots.


15 Minutes - Full Shots


5 short irons: Vary targets in distance and direction.

10 mid irons: Adjust targets for distance and shot shape.

Stick to your full pre-shot routine.


End your warm-up with five rehearsal swings of your first tee shot.


Tip: Avoid ending with putting and chipping. These can tighten your muscles, which you want to avoid before your first tee shot.
