GOING FOR A FEW EXTRA METRES ON YOUR DRIVE

Every now and then we all like to take a rip at our driver with the idea of getting a few extra metres. It could be to impress a playing partner, carry a bunker or just because you feel like it.

There is nothing quite like that feeling you get when you've really crunched one!

Apart from a few set-up changes I make sure I pick the right hole to give it a rip on, don't try this on holes that have out-of-bounds or hazards just off the fairway edge.

Here's what I do when I feel like going for a long one:

Set-Up

- Tee the ball up a bit higher

- Widen the stance about 10 centimetres

- Play the ball a little forward in the stance, no more than 5 cm

- Close the stance and shoulders a few degrees

- Relax

Swing Thought

- SWING LONG & FREE (No controlling swing thoughts)

Channel: John Daly, Fred Couples, Phil Mickelson or Bubba Watson

I recognize that the narrative is well-organized from start to finish. The reasoning does not outpace the data. The website provides expanded thematic coverage of the topic. Systemic analysis is expanded via interactive internet platforms.
